Curating
Since 2007, I have directed, curated and maintained Terminal. Terminal is a space sponsored by the Department of Art and the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts at Austin Peay State University to showcase and examine internet and new media art. Each year, Terminal awards 4 awards for the creation of new internet art works. Awarded artists include, Jillian Mcdonald, Benjamin Grosser, Angela Washko, Angela Watters, the WRMC Collaborative, Joel Swanson, xtine burrough, Luke Munn, Ben Baker-Smith, Scott Kildall, Jody Zellen, Michael Demers, Jessica Westbrook and Adam Trowbridge, and Phillip Andrew Lewis.
In 2011, Terminal inaugurated its Physical Space to feature the work of video artists. It is now housed in the entryway of the APSU library, a space that affords it a large, non-art audience. Terminal Physical Space has featured the work of McLean Fahnestock, Arielle Falk, Aaron Henderson, A. Bill Miller, Curt Cloniger, Jacob Tonski, and Olga Mink. Scheduled for 2012 – 2013 are Lei Han, Valerie Fuchs, Charles Woodman, Michelle Given, Jason Sloan, Jillian Mcdonald, and Stephen Slappe.
